43 Saint Vincent College graduates begin pursuits of advanced degrees

LATROBE, PA – Forty-three recent and anticipated graduates of Saint Vincent College will attend graduate or professional schools this fall to pursue postgraduate degrees. 

Graduates from the Herbert W. Boyer School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Computing:

Nicholos Benson, a chemistry and mathematics double major from McDonald, will pursue a Ph.D. in chemistry at Penn State University;

Andrew Bottino, a biology major from Monongahela, will pursue a Master of Biomedical Sciences degree at Duquesne University;

Sam Bringman, a physics and mathematics double major from Lewisburg, will pursue a Ph.D. in physics with a concentration in astrophysics and cosmology at Ohio University;

Anthony Campoli, a biology and biological psychology double major from New Castle, will pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree at Logan University;

Zach Choby, a mathematics and secondary education double major from Windber, will pursue a Ph.D. in mathematics at Syracuse University;

Lydia Cidor, a biological chemistry major from Greensburg, will pursue a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine;

Christian Ciecierski, a biochemistry and mechanical engineering double major from Murrysville, will pursue a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine;

Giana Georgiana, a biology and studio art double major from Hollidaysburg, will pursue a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine;

Nicholas Helsel, a biology and biological psychology double major from Hollidaysburg, will pursue a Master of Physician Assistant Science degree at Gannon University, Ruskin, FL;

Mei Jenkins-Andrews, a biology and psychology double major from Greensburg, will pursue a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine;

Sophia Lielsberger, a biochemistry major from Waterford, VA, will pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at West Virginia University;

Will Mallah, a physics and mathematics double major from Pittsburgh, will pursue a Ph.D. in physics with a concentration in condensed matter theory at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville;

Steven Manon, a biology major from West Newton, will pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Duquesne University;

John Meneghini, a physics and mathematics double major from Jeannette, will pursue a Ph.D. in physics at Carnegie Mellon University;

Katarina McCaffrety, a biology and theology double major from Monroeville, will pursue a Master of Biomedical Sciences degree at Duquesne University;

Brennen Novotney, a biochemistry major from Greensburg, will pursue a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine;

Antonia Sunseri, a mathematics and data science double major from Greensburg, will pursue a Master of Data Science degree at the University of Denver; and

Jonah Vaglia, a biology major from Clymer, will pursue a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Duquesne University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Graduates from the School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences:

Abbie Bashioum, a public history major from Scottdale, will pursue a combined Master of Arts in degree in applied history and Master of Science degree in library and information science at Shippensburg University;

James Bendtsen, a communication major from Apollo, will pursue a Master of Science degree in curriculum and instruction at Saint Vincent College;

Azalynn Coblentz, a middle grade education major from Bethel Park, will pursue a Master of Science degree in counselor education at Saint Vincent College;

Caitlin Cole, a digital art and media major from Cranberry Township, will pursue a Master of Arts degree in film and television with a focus on editing at Savannah (GA) College of Art and Design;

Peter Feng, a philosophy and theology double major from Latrobe, will pursue a Bachelor of Sacred Theology degree at The Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) in Rome, Italy;

Katherine Leonard, an early childhood education major from Greensburg, will pursue a Master of Science degree in curriculum and instruction at Saint Vincent College;

Joel Martirano, a history major from Smithsburg, MD, will pursue a Master of Arts degree in applied history at Shippensburg University;

Bill McClellan, a history major from Blairsville, will pursue a Master of Library and Information Science degree at the University of Pittsburgh;

Garrett Miller, a theology major from Glen Burnie, MD, will pursue a Master of Divinity degree at Saint John’s University, Collegeville, MN;

Gage Mortimer, a history major from New Cumberland, will pursue a Master of Arts degree in public affairs at Indiana University of Pennsylvania;

Scott Root, a history major from Perryopolis, will pursue a Master of Science degree in curriculum and instruction at Saint Vincent College;

Madeline Schuck, an early childhood education major from Hunker, will pursue a Master of Science degree in curriculum and instruction at Saint Vincent College;

Mchael Schulte, a philosophy major from Crestwood, KY, will pursue a Master of Arts degree in theological studies at Saint Vincent College; and

Dylan Slebodnik, a history education major from Perryopolis, will pursue a Master of Science degree in curriculum and instruction at Saint Vincent College.

Graduates from the Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics and Government:

Dammion Bundridge, a health science major from Carnegie, will pursue a Master of Science degree in management: operational excellence at Saint Vincent College;

Sarah Curran, an early childhood education major from Terryville, CT, will pursue a Master of Science degree in management: operational excellence at Saint Vincent College;

Theresa Fletcher, a criminology, law and society major from Elizabeth, CO, will attend Penn State Dickinson Law;

Delaney Fox, a political science major from Finleyville, will attend Penn State Dickinson Law;

Carter Had, a management major from Latrobe, will pursue Master of Science degree in management: operational excellence at Saint Vincent Colllege;

Alexander Hess, an engineering major from Mount Airy, MD, will pursue Master of Science degree in management: operational excellence at Saint Vincent College;

Osyon Jones, a management major from Orlando, FL, will pursue Master of Science degree in management: operational excellence at Saint Vincent College;

Joel Loomis, a political science and management double major from Dingmans Ferry, will pursue a Master of Science degree in public and international affairs at the University of Pittsburgh;

Dalton Nicklow, a business administration major from Pasadena, MD, will pursue Master of Science degree in management: operational excellence at Saint Vincent College; 

Austin Slye, a business economics major from Odeonton, MD, will pursue a Master of Science degree in public policy and management at Carnegie Mellon University; and

Nicholas Walters, a politics major from Erie, will pursue a Master of Science degree in public and international affairs at the University of Pittsburgh.
