Clubs and Organizations
Bearchords: The Bearchords is a student run a capella group that aims to bring joy to campus through music and provide a creative outlet for singers to learn and experiment with vocal performance.

The Troupe: The Troupe is an amateur student organization dedicated to performing the classic works of English playwrights. The club exists for the benefit and enjoyment of every individual in the group and recently celebrated its fifteenth anniversary. The Company: The Company was the first entirely student-run musical theater organization in Western Pennsylvania. They perform two shows a year: a musical in the fall semester and a cabaret-style show in the spring semester. Some of the past shows we have performed are Hello Dolly, Grease, Footloose, Little Shop of Horrors, Young Frankenstein, and 9 to 5. The Company's mission is to enlighten, enrich, and entertain the students and audience that bring it to life. We are always looking for new and talented members with a passion for performing! The Players: The Players present two shows each year—a play and a musical—featuring the talent of Saint Vincent students and directed by Mr. Greggory Brandt, Director of Theater Operations / Professor of Theater. Come and enjoy the performances at the Carey Performing Arts Center that showcase the hard work and dedication of our student actors.

Facilities

Performing Arts Center
The theater in the Robert S. Carey Student Center is a historic proscenium theater with an extended apron for intimate seating and modern practices. It offers continental seating and accommodates around 450 people, with 329 seats on the lower level and the rest in the mezzanine.

Saint Vincent Basilica
The Saint Vincent Basilica, completed in 1905, is renowned for its acoustic perfection, featuring a natural six-second sound delay. It serves as a daily gathering place for the Saint Vincent community for prayer, special masses, and baccalaureate celebrations. The basilica also hosts musical recitals, particularly during the holidays, and frequently features concerts as part of the Saint Vincent College Concert Series, showcasing world-class musicians and a variety of musical genres.

Practice Rooms
Students of music have access to seven music practice rooms located in the music department in the Robert S. Carey Student Center.
