LATROBE, PA—Saint Vincent College is pleased to announce the hiring of 12 new faculty members for the 2023-24 academic year. Listed below are the new hires and the positions they will be filling.
The new faculty in the School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences include:
- Dr. Brandi Kline, who will be assuming the role of Assistant Professor of Psychology in the School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
- Dr. Sophia Geng, who will be assuming the role of the James and Margaret Tseng Loe Chair of China Studies, as well as Director for the Loe Center for China Studies.
- Dr. Caryn Greco, who will be assuming the role of Visiting Assistant Professor of Voice Coordinator of Music.
- J. Christopher Pardini, who will be assuming the role of Instructor of Music and Director of the Saint Vincent College Concert Series.
- Dr. Emily Barth, who will be assuming the role of Curator for the McCarl Coverlet Gallery.
The new faculty in the Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics and Government include:
- Paige Parsley, who will be starting a position as an instructor of criminology, law and society.
- Caitlin Michael, who will be starting a position as an instructor of marketing.
- Dr. Christian Kalhoefer, who will be starting a position as a professor of finance.
- Mark Kachmar, who will be starting a role as an executive in residence.
- Christina Gibson, who will be starting a position as an instructor of accounting.
The new faculty in the Herbert W. Boyer School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Computing include:
- Dr. Mary Regina Boland, who will be starting a position as an assistant professor of data science and business data analytics.
- Dr. Joseph Swanson, who will be starting a position as an assistant professor of mathematics.
