Boyer School Graduates to Attend Medical and Professional Schools

LATROBE, PA – The Pre-Professional Health Committee of Saint Vincent College’s Herbert W. Boyer School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Computing has announced that 12 graduates of the spring class of 2022 will attend medical and professional schools across the U.S.

The students include:

  • Maria Arcara, computer science and mathematics major from Greensburg, will pursue a Juris Doctor of Law degree at the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University

  • Joshua Boland, biology major from Plum, will attend the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida to pursue a doctor of dental medicine degree

  • Sarah Centore, biology major from Canonsburg, will attend the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine to pursue a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree

  • Phillip Costa, biology major from Monroeville, will attend the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine to pursue a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree

  • Jessica Gibson, biology major from North Huntington, will attend the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine to pursue a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree

  • Robert Gigliotti, biology major from Pittsburgh, will attend Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science to pursue a doctor of optometry degree

  • Braith Kiser, biology major from Slippery Rock, will attend the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine to pursue a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree

  • Joshua Ligus, biochemistry major from North Huntington, will attend Salus University Pennsylvania College of Optometry to pursue a doctor of optometry degree

  • Hannah Miller, biology major from DuBois, will attend the University of New England College of Dental Medicine to pursue a doctor of dental medicine degree

  • Madison Nuttal, biology major from West Newton, will attend the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine to pursue a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree

  • Christopher Risnear, biology major from Penn Township, will attend the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine to pursue a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree

  • Abigail Uhrinek, biology major from Natrona Heights, will attend the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine to pursue a doctor of veterinary medicine degree
