Graduate Degrees in Education
Counselor Education: This program prepares you for a career as a professional school counselor (PK-12) through a 39-credit hybrid program that includes contemporary coursework, extensive fieldwork, and preparation for the Praxis II exam. The program is designed to be completed in approximately 20 months, with classes held in accelerated 7-week sessions.
Curriculum and Instruction: The Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction is an online 30-credit program designed to develop instructional leaders through coursework in curriculum design, instructional methods, and assessment strategies. The program can be completed in approximately 18 months with classes held in accelerated 7-week sessions.
Educational Leadership: This 39-credit fully online program is designed for veteran educators seeking Pennsylvania certification as K-12 principals. It includes coursework on current educational issues, leadership techniques, and practical experiences, requiring three years of documented teaching experience.
Special Education: This 30-credit hybrid program is designed for certified teachers seeking additional Pennsylvania certification in special education PreK-12. The program includes coursework on assessment and instruction strategies, individualized education programs, and relevant laws and can be completed in approximately 21 months.

Designed for certified teachers or those college graduates wanting to gain teacher certification, our certificates offer the latest real-world content through an efficient yet rigorous curriculum. Continuing Education
The continuing education program is committed to providing quality education to students with or without a bachelor’s degree. Saint Vincent College offers classes throughout the year so that students can complete their education when it is most convenient for them. The program allows students to take courses without enrolling in a bachelor’s degree or certificate program. This option is best for students who want to take courses for personal knowledge, prerequisites for other programs, or take a class between semesters while home for the summer.
