Delta Mu Delta is an international honor society established in 1913 to recognize students in accredited business schools for their high academic achievement in baccalaureate, master’s and doctorate programs.
Alpha Phi Sigma is the National Criminal Justice Honor Society. Established in 1942 by Dr. Vivian Anderson Leonard, it promotes and recognizes excellence in scholarship and performance in the field of criminology.
Omicron Delta Epsilon, the International Honor Society in Economics, recognizes outstanding achievements in the field of economics and fosters connections between students and faculty. It was formed in 1963 through the merging of Omicron Delta Gamma and Omicron Chi Epsilon honor societies and is open to both undergraduate and graduate students.
Pi Sigma Alpha, founded in 1920, is the National Political Science Honor Society. Open to undergraduate and graduate students, it recognizes excellence in academic achievement in political science, government, international relations and public affairs and aims to stimulate scholarship and interest in those fields.
Graduating seniors who have completed the Aurelius Scholars program were also honored at the event, receiving an award as well as Honors Community cords to be worn for the Spring Commencement ceremony.
Part of Saint Vincent’s Honors Community, the Aurelius Scholars program is offered to motivated students from any major interested in the Western intellectual tradition and is rooted in a diverse course sequence meant to satisfy part of Saint Vincent’s core curriculum.
