by Public Relations | April 17, 2025

LATROBE, PA – Saint Vincent College is ranked No. 33 in the United States, and No. 2 in Pennsylvania, among Christian Colleges in a new ranking published by Faith on View.

The College also received high marks in several other categories of the ranking, which aims to quantify both the quality of education and adherence to the Christian faith. Saint Vincent ranks as the No. 7 Christian college in the Northeast, No. 18 among US Catholic schools, No. 2 among Christian colleges with an enrollment between 700 and 1,999 students, No. 10 among all schools in providing faculty resources, and No. 37 in student success in a list that includes household names such as the University of Notre Dame, Villanova University, Boston College, and Pepperdine University.

“To be recognized as a faithful Christian and Catholic college alongside and even above some of our most prestigious peers is a true honor,” said Father Paul Taylor, O.S.B., C’87, S’91, president of Saint Vincent College. “This ranking reflects the dedication and hard work of everyone at the College to provide an education that reflects our Benedictine principles, preparing students not only for their career but also for a life of meaning.”

According to Faith on View, the number of students seeking a distinctly faith-focused education has steadily increased. US Christian colleges now serve more than 1.1 million students annually. To compile its rankings, the platform used a formula that includes reputation, student success, availability of faculty resources, student selectivity, value and diversity of the student body and faculty as its evaluation criteria.

The Faith on View ranking is the latest in a series of recent rankings affirming the quality and value of a Saint Vincent education. In the past year, the College has ranked in the top third of higher education institutions according to Research.com, received high marks from both the Heritage Foundation and Washington Monthly, ranked among the top liberal arts colleges according to U.S. News and World Report and ranked among the top 100 schools in the nation by WalletHub. Programs like nursing, cybersecurity, management: operational excellence, criminology, data science and theology have received top marks, as well.

A list of all recent state-wide and national rankings is available on the Saint Vincent College website.
