Paige Parsley is an Instructor in the Criminology, Law, and Society Department here at Saint Vincent. Though she loves all facets of criminology, Instructor Parsley's favorite subjects include police health and psychology, biosocial criminology, and psychological roots of crime.
Prior to working as part of the Saint Vincent family, Instructor Parsley earned both her undergraduate degree and master's degree from Saint Vincent College. Prior to working in an academic setting, she worked as a paralegal for a law firm in Pittsburgh. Her primary focus at the firm was estates and trusts, but she also worked in patent and trademark law, environmental law, and real estate law. By far, her favorite experience within the legal field was an internship secured as an undergraduate at SVC. Instructor Parsley spent an entire semester shadowing attorneys in the Westmoreland Public Defender's office and completely fell in love with crime, the court process, and sentencing.
Outside of work, Instructor Parsley enjoys DIY projects, exercising, baking, and being at home with her husband, sons, and two rescue pit bulls.
